Dear Family,
What at great week we have had here in Bay Shore! With so many crazy things happening around the country we are so blessed to be be living in a place that is quiet and safe. The members of our ward keep us quite informed about what is going on around the country and the world so we won't be surprised someone talks about what is going on here and there. So we are quite blessed. We had sisters exchanges this week and I was able to work in Terryville this week with another brand new missionary. I can't tell you how amazing these missionaries are! Their excitement for the work is astonishing and so encouraging! These missionaries know their stuff and know how to listen to and follow the spirit! What a blessing! I am so happy to hear that so many missionaries from our stake are out/going out! That is so cool! They will add so much to this awesome army fighting for God and His righteous purposes. I know this battle is won by small and simple means, but this force coming out is large and mighty! We are so blessed to be in this part of history!
I am pleased to inform you that I was able to go to Manhattan AGAIN!! I am the luckiest missionary in the NY-NYCS mission! This was my fourth visit and I'm telling you, it's AWESOME! You all are going to love it there! I don't know why I never wanted to go there! Silly me :) I will try to send pictures this week in my letter home... I just need to relocate the second SD card :) it is somewhere in the apartment i'm sure :).
I can't thank you enough for all your support and letters! Sister Golbranson, the sister who takes care of the mail, says that I am the luckiest missionary because of all the mail I get, so thank you all for being so great! I love you all! I'm sorry my letters back are a little slow. I am running out of time on P-Days but I am working on it and hope to be able to catch up this week.
Today we are going to the Brooklyn/Queens area to a place called Graffiti park. I hear it is really quite cool and I can't wait to send Sister Gardner some of those pictures!
Thanks again for all you do for me! I LOVE YOU ALL!
Love Sister Hamblin :)
