Dear Family,
It was so good to be able to visit with you through email today! I am so blessed to be able to live in such a time of instant messaging and such!
I promised in this ltter to let you know how the rest of the conference went. President Hardman (stake president) spoke on being tolerant. President Calderwood spoke on the Atonement and the Doctrine of Christ, and Elder Olsen (Area 70's) talked about Holy Week and getting ready for Easter. It was really great! During this talk I thought about preparing for the Sacrament and how well I do/don't do this. I came to realize that preparing for the Sacrament is just as important as preparing a convert for baptism. It is really important and greatly needed. Oh we are so blessed!
Manhattan was awesome! I didn't realize that the beautiful temple is right across the street from Juliard School of Music! Those buildings are so cool!
However I didn't get many pictures because, well I'm graceful, and I fell down and landed on my camera, so it's broken :) I will just use those disposable cameras or something in the future. Sister Moreno Diaz took some pictures on her camera so when she sends those I will send them through email. I'm so sorry!
Okay I'd better go. Sorry my letters are so short today. I love you!
Sister Hamblin
